Job Description


We're seeking a senior human resources leader to join our executive team. As the First Assistant Director General (FADG) People, you'll be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and expertise to support the achievement of our goals and objectives.



Key Responsibilities


* Providing strategic HR advice to our executive team and senior managers on HR-related matters.

* Fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in teams and across the Organisation.

* Developing workforce plans that meet our current and future needs, including programs to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.

* Advising on employee relations, including performance management, misconduct, and conflict resolution.

* Maintaining HR policies and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and regulations.

* Overseeing the delivery of HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, performance and talent management, and benefits administration.



Requirements


* Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and advice at a senior level.

* Extensive knowledge and experience in HR management, including workforce planning, employee relations, and HR policy development.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change, including the implementation of new HR strategies, policies, and systems.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
