An exciting opportunity exists for motivated Registered Nurse to join the dynamic multi-disciplinary team at the newly renovated Emergency Department at Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

Where you'll be working
HKH Emergency Department is a newly commissioned combined Adult / Paediatric Emergency Department with an amazing team of Clinical NUMs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Enrolled and Registered Nursing staff.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy Emergency Department, caring for Adult and Paediatric patients across a wide spectrum of trauma, surgical, medical and mental health presentations. This is a challenging and rewarding role supported by a structured training pathway designed on an individual basis by the ED CNE.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
* Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated recent Acute Care experience with a minimum of 12 months Registered Nurse experience.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
* A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
* Previous experience in Emergency or Critical Care is desirable.
