Due to recent project awards, and a strong pipeline of future work opportunities, we are excited to announce that our Civil team is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced site Supervisor/Foreman.
The successful candidate will be working on projects, predominately based across South East QLD.If you have a hands-on approach, a strong background in a diverse range of civil and infrastructure projects and have credibility gained from successfully completing civil projects then we would love to hear from you!
About the roleThe duties of the supervisor roles will be refined for the various level of supervisor that is required, however the general expectations will be:Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomesBe responsible for co-ordinating subcontractors onsiteYou will need to work autonomously at times and also coordinate internal and external resourcesEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.Maintain and communication regular program updates to the project team and subcontractorsCo-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficiently.Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder's strong reputation.Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.About You - Skills and ExperienceExtensive experience in civil construction (3 years minimum experience in a similar role)Solid foundation in typical civil works including earthworks, versatile and rigid pavements, buried services and infrastructural, formed structural concrete, landscaping and other unique civil and infrastructure type projectsBe competent in understanding, reviewing and working to project Drawings and SpecificationsA person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven with a focus also on cost controlRelevant civil background and competenciesExcellent communication skills – both oral and writtenGood computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)Why Join UsIf you are looking for a role that offers excitement, stability, flexibility, and exposure to diverse projects, Alder Group is the place for you!
