Job Overview

The Assistant Director, Learning and Development plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's approach to learning and development. This position is responsible for spearheading the development and delivery of high-quality learning programs that foster growth and development among staff members.

This role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify training needs, develop solutions, and implement programs that drive business outcomes. The Assistant Director, Learning and Development will also be responsible for managing a team of learning professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

* Establishing and overseeing an L&D team
* Developing and delivering impactful L&D programs and offerings
* Providing strategic direction to the team, including developing strategies, priorities, and performance metrics
* Managing team performance, conflict, and identifying areas for training and development
* Mentoring and developing staff to ensure professional growth and succession planning
