Job Title:
A skilled and dedicated Support Worker is required to provide high-quality services to support individuals with disabilities in a creative environment.
This is an enthusiastic and engaging role that involves assisting and encouraging people with disabilities to learn skills and have fun.
* Assist individuals with disabilities in learning skills and having fun
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve program goals
* Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including those with disabilities
* Utilize tools and power tools to assist individuals with disabilities
Requirements:
Previous experience in a trade or handyperson role is highly desirable. A knowledge and ability to use tools and power tools are essential.
A Certificate III Individual Support or Cert IV Disability would be highly desirable.
* Experienced handyperson
* Outstanding communication skills, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
* Experience working with people with disabilities
* Certificate III Individual Support or Cert IV Disability – highly desirable
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Workers Induction module certificate
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Current valid full Driver's Licence
* Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
