Senior Project Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience in civil construction with particular focus (although not essential) in Roads, drainage, and transport projects.
Working within the Portfolio Management Office part of the Instructure & Operations Directorate you will be responsible for managing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of various council projects and programs, from the detailed design phase through to handover/commission.
The projects will vary in size and complexity, and you will need to ensure that they are delivered to the agreed criteria, ensuring safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope and customer satisfaction are consistent with council’s strategy, commitments and goals.
About YouWe are seeking someone with:Experience in experience in civil construction with particular focus (although not essential) in Roads, drainage, and transport projects.Qualification in a related field such as Engineering or Building and Construction ManagementContract management training.Significant experience in liaising with consultants, contractors and suppliers.Experience in report writing and with the ability to clearly articulate issues and propose solutions.
