About the role
Dicey Riley's Hotel is on the hunt for some new staff to join the team here. We are seeking casual bartenders looking for around 20 - 30 Hours a week across a range of shifts, with more hours available for the right candidate. Applicants with supervisor / management experience may be considered for supervisor roles in the coming months.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
* Providing excellent customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere amongst the customers and staff
* Ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean and tidy at all times
* Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing laws and regulations
* Accurately handling cash and reconciling transactions
What we're looking for
* Previous experience working as a bartender in a busy pub setting is required
* Bar supervision & Duty Management experience an advantage
* Knowledge of bar operations, including the preparation of mixed drinks, cleaning tasks, fast paced service
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification & Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Required. Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) desirable
* Excellent communication, initiative & problem-solving skills
* Flexible and available to work a range of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Cellar experience handy
