Workshop Fitter - Machinery Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our plants.
The role involves repairing and maintaining various types of machinery, including telehandlers and rotos. This includes performing PDIs, safety LOLER inspections, servicing, and general damage repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations
* Repair and maintain machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
* Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair work completed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification
* A full, valid driving license with no more than 3 points
* Demonstrated knowledge of plant machinery and equipment
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Good communication and teamwork skills
