About This Role
Join a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical sector and play a key role in the successful delivery of critical engineering projects.
As a Project Engineer, you'll take ownership of equipment-focused work packages within a larger project framework. This includes overseeing the full lifecycle—from design and procurement to installation, commissioning, and qualification—ensuring each phase is delivered to scope, cost, and time requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage equipment-related work packages from planning through to commissioning and qualification
Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT), delivery, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations to ensure on-time project delivery
Interface with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align on deliverables
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GMP standards where applicable
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical, Process, or Mechanical)
3-10 years' experience in a similar role within industrial sectors
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech is highly desirable
Strong background with packaging lines or related equipment
Experience from similar industries such as food & beverage or dairy will also be considered
Proven ability to manage multiple project stages with minimal supervision
