We’re seeking a Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (motor mechanic or diesel fitter) to join us. If you're looking for a rewarding and challenging role in a growing, progressive organisation, this is your opportunity!
Position Overview
This full-time, permanent position offers a 4-day work week.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fixed and mobile farm equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair, and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, vehicles, forklifts, bagging machines, and heavy machinery.
* Ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
* Order parts using our in-house system.
* Install, fit, and maintain mechanical equipment as required.
* Manage time effectively and prioritize workloads.
* Perform additional duties as required by management.
Position Requirements
* Mechanical trade qualification (motor mechanic or diesel fitter).
* Agricultural experience is a plus but not essential.
* A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
