Job Title:
Accounts Receivable/Collection Officer
The Role:
As the Accounts Receivable/Collections officer you will be responsible for managing the incoming revenue at Filla Food Group. You will ensure that invoices are issued accurately and promptly, payments are collected in a timely manner, and client accounts are maintained, ensuring smooth daily operations throughout the working week.
Your duties will be:
· Raising and sending invoices, processing credit memos, and handling billing discrepancies.
· Tracking overdue invoices, contacting customers, and organizing payments.
· Reconciling bank statements, applying payments to customer accounts, and managing payment systems (Xero, MYOB, etc.).
· Reviewing new customer financial applications, conducting credit checks, and setting credit limits.
· Preparing reports, updating systems and reporting back to management.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping (any higher Qualification/Degree/Certificate is welcome but not essential).
· 2+ years in accounts receivable, credit control, or any related fields.
· Profiecent in MS Excel, Outlook, Xero, MYOB.
Intermediate level proficiency in Xero and MYOB accounting software is required for effective management of payment systems and financial records.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
