About the role
As the Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day TACC operations by delivering an exceptional front-of-house service, supporting member businesses and driving new member engagement.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role with the opportunity to be the first contact point for TACC, providing efficient administrative support and proactive tele-sales assistance. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth running of daily operations and the growth and retention of TACC membership
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the Manager and TACC team with day-to-day responsibilities, including maintaining apprenticeship and membership databases.
• Support telesales & member engagement activities by conducting outbound calls to promote TACC services and campaigns, support new member acquisition and retention efforts.
• Coordinate reception & office duties by being the first point of contact for enquiries, manage meeting bookings and mail distribution.
• Assist with apprentice recruitment, inductions, and compliance tracking.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and newsletters for communication to member businesses, government bodies, schools, and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and events as required.
About You
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional individual with a strong administrative background and a passion for supporting business operations. An ability to stay organised, think ahead, and execute with precision will be essential to support the team's success.
You will bring:
• Exceptional experience in reception, administration and/or telesales.
• Experience of working in a collaborative and forward-thinking business operations role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handling data within CRM systems.
• A qualification in business administration would be highly regarded.
• Experience in event coordination is a plus.
