Accounting Role in a Fast-Growing Consulting Business
This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure across a wide range of accounting functions and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive environment.
You will work closely with the Head of Finance, a highly experienced leader who is passionate about mentoring and developing the team.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity is an accounting graduate with two to three years of experience seeking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced bookkeeper looking to join a high-quality professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining general business accounts, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
* Managing trust accounts, including marketing reconciliations.
* Processing payroll.
* Daily banking and reconciliations.
* Settlements.
* Financial reporting (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flows etc.).
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience in a relevant role.
* Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or Accounting.
* Intending to complete or currently undertaking CA or CPA qualification.
* Experience in real estate or trust accounting (advantageous, not essential).
* Exposure to Xero (highly regarded).
* Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with key stakeholders.
* A positive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail.
