About the role The role of the Clinical Director Orthopaedics, is to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of Metro North Health Service. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Provide professional leadership of the Orthopaedic Department at Redcliffe Hospital * Take a lead role in managing medical workforce within the Orthopaedic department including recruitment, leave management and rostering. * Promote a research-driven culture and actively support research and education initiatives and promote these across all disciplines. Specifically foster the translation of evidence-based research data and recommendations to support decision making and workforce capacity building. * Work collaboratively with Facility, Stream leadership and peer Service Lines across the Hospital and Health Service to ensure harmonious and collaborative processes to ensure seamless patient care.
