About the Role: Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Officer to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and assisting in the implementation of IT solutions. Location: Bayswater, VIC 3153 Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues on Windows and Apple devices. Maintain and optimize IT systems for performance, security, and availability. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and network devices. Manage IT asset procurement, maintain inventory, and track hardware purchases and maintenance. Create and update IT support documentation, standard procedures, and knowledge base articles. Deliver remote and on-site IT support to minimize downtime and quickly resolve issues. Collaborate with internal teams to implement IT solutions and improve support processes based on feedback. Conduct IT training sessions and work with the IT Security Specialist on cybersecurity training. Support cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and VPN solutions. Skills & Experience: At least 1 - 2 year of IT support experience, managing a large volume of users. Previous experience troubleshooting Windows, Office 365, Mac, Azure Active Directory, and VPN solutions. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and cloud technologies. Hands-on experience with hardware/software installation, configuration, and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. Clear communications Experience with Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Guard) is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune is a plus.
