About the role:
- Work with the business to enable the effective design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP reporting solutions
- Oversee the definition, testing, release, and deployment of SAP BW enhancements and fixes to ensure they meet organisational requirements and align with the existing infrastructure
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver system changes and user requirements in line with service-level agreements
- Manage the preparation and delivery of clear, concise reports and briefings for management including senior executives on SAP enhancements, system releases, and emerging related issues
- Provide necessary evidence, reporting and samples to internal stakeholders including the team/s responsible for cyber security to ensure the department is compliant with system security
- Manage the development and delivery of clear, concise reports for management including senior executive on SAP enhancements, system releases, and related issues as they arise
- Be confident driving change and system enhancements in a matrix organisation
- Manage a team of less than 10 staff
About you:
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing SAP BW and ABAP teams, ideally within complex government or enterprise environments.
- Extensive hands-on SAP management experience, with expertise in SAP BW architecture, performance optimisation, and ABAP development oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting and integration solutions.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels including non-technical colleagues
- Experience designing, maintaining, and optimising integrations between SAP BW and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA reporting or migration roadmaps is highly regarded.
