A well-known Rail Organisation is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for an immediate start.
**Your new company**
This well-known State Government Organisation and one of Australia's largest Regional Public Transport is currently seeking an experience Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to ensure that all maintenance planning and scheduling elements as defined within the Works Management Standard and Procedure are adhered to, to ensure quality, deliverable, resourced plans can be executed on time and within budget.
**Your new role**
As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for the following below:
- Arrange necessary track access or permits where required to complete approved maintenance work scopes or inspection activities.
- Develop detailed plans and optimised schedules of work for delivery within network closure events, identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, including (but not limited to) Early Week-Night Occupations.
- Represent Network Maintenance at Pre-Occupation Planning meetings and communicate work scopes for delivery and provide necessary occupation program scopes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Asset Management maturity uplift within the Planning and Network Closures team through identification and completion of improvement initiatives.
**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful person will have experience from a Trade or Technical background as well as experience with Maintenance Planning to a detailed level. You will also have a strong understanding of works management and maintenance planning and scheduling principles as well as experience working within a maintenance planning environment.
