$35.02 to $51.46 per hour + casual loading | Applications close 09 May 2025Casual Physiotherapist Grade 1 or 2 | Ballarat CampusAbout The RoleThe casual Physiotherapist role offers the opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including acute inpatient, subacute rehabilitation, and community programs, primarily within Grampians Health Ballarat. You will have the chance to apply your skills in a variety of environments, contributing to patient recovery and rehabilitation. The role provides flexibility, with optional weekend work available. This position allows you to enhance your experience across multiple clinical areas while supporting the delivery of high-quality care to the community.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, complex discharge planning, and advocacy for clients across acute, subacute, and community programs.Ensure smooth client transitions through the healthcare system, liaising with staff and community agencies for continuity of care.Actively participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and family meetings.Monitor and ensure clinical activities meet competency standards and program requirements, while supporting evidence-based practice.Maintain effective communication within the organisation and with external parties, ensuring accurate documentation and completion of statistical records.Contribute to workforce development and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.Skills & ExperienceEligibility for registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Sound knowledge and experience in assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for clients in acute inpatient, subacute rehabilitation, and community programs.Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic and busy work environment.Commitment to ongoing learning in relevant fields.Reflective practice and ability to evaluate and modify own performance.Strong commitment to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to client care.To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here (Grade 1) or click here (Grade 2).Interested?Click APPLY or if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Nick Halliburton, Deputy Manager, Physiotherapy (East) on 0482 995 313 for a confidential discussion.We're actively seeking candidates for this role and will review applications as they are submitted.
