The Role:
The People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture at MFM by supporting the People & Culture Manager in the partnering with leaders and employees to deliver strategic people-focused solutions. We work in a fast-paced environment so the right candidate will be energetic and determined to see tasks and projects through.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Attract top talent and create seamless onboarding experiences for new hires.
Training & Development: Coordinate learning opportunities to help our team grow their skills.
Employee Relations: Support conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Process Improvements: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employment matters, ensuring compliance whilst making process improvements and administrative efficiencies.
Culture Champion: Support initiatives that reflect our values of integrity, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Property Management : Carry out end-to-end property management activities to support this vital employee value proposition.
What We’re Looking For:
1+ years experience in HR, people management, or a related field (agricultural industry experience a bonus!).
A warm, approachable communicator who builds trust and connection.
Strong organisational skills and a knack for juggling multiple priorities.
Knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices.
Energetic, willing and ‘can-do’ attitude.
Commitment to the process of continuous improvement.
