The Role
A well-established Australian organisation is seeking a Head of IAM to lead and shape their identity and access management function.
This is a senior, strategic role with the opportunity to influence the direction of IAM, grow a high-performing team, and drive key initiatives across the business. You will act as the subject matter authority for IAM/PAM and play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s cyber security posture.
What You’ll DoLead, develop, and grow a talented IAM/PAM team, including internal staff and managed service partners.Define and implement strategy for identity and access management, setting priorities that align with broader business objectives.Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across IT, cyber, risk, and business functions to ensure alignment and delivery of initiatives.Oversee key IAM and PAM projects, guiding decision-making and providing expert advice on best practices and modern identity management approaches.Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of access management while driving continuous improvement and capability uplift.
Who You AreExtensive IAM and PAM expertise, ideally with hands-on experience in Okta, CyberArk, or Entra ID.Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Confident and autonomous, capable of operating at a senior leadership level and influencing across the organisation.Experienced in regulated or complex environments such as banking, financial services, or consulting.
Location & PackageSydney-based, 4 days per week in the office.Competitive package for the right candidates.
