As a General Labourer with BGIS you will perform a variety of physical tasks, including assisting tradespeople, cleaning job sites, handling materials, and supporting construction or landscaping projects. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a willingness to take on a range of duties, from manual labour to site maintenance. Experience in construction or landscaping is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople with various tasks
- Site clean-ups and maintaining tidy work environments
- Other labouring tasks as required on site
- Planting, mulching, topsoil application, and turfing
- Building retaining walls, constructing decks, paving, irrigation installation, and concreting
- Snipping, mowing, weeding, spraying, planting, mulching, topsoil application, and turfing
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in construction and/or landscaping.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions
- A good attitude and willingness to learn
- Construction White Card.
- Valid Drivers License
