About our Client:
Our client operates on one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 kilometres south‑east of Darwin.
About the Role:
- 2:2 Roster
- Day and Night Shift | 12‑hour shifts
- FIFO from Darwin only (interstate flights not included)
- 6‑12 month duration
- Install, assemble, and align piping systems and associated mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, etc.).
- Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities, including system flushing, pressure testing, leak checks, and mechanical completion.
- Follow site safety procedures and production targets
- Ensure machines are tested and running correctly.
- Work collaboratively within a high‑performing team on site
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Pipe Fitting, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and procedures for pipe installation and testing.
- A valid driver’s licence
- The ability to pass a full pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Must be willing to pay for your own interstate flights – these are not included
- Must be clean shaven
