Overview
Join our dynamic team in a global role as the Group Safety, Quality and Compliance Manager (GSQCM), reporting directly to the CEO. Your role is crucial in ensuring continuous compliance with regulations and internal policies and promoting a culture of quality and compliance throughout our organisation, whilst also managing the Safety functions for the Group.
The GSCQM is also the Quality Assurance Manager for Australian regulatory purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of the Group Safety Management System SMS and WHS Operations Manuals globally
* Ownership and delivery of the Quality Assurance System, and the Compliance Monitoring Program, for CASA Part 142 and Part 60 activities
* Building professional relationships with regulatory authorities
* Retain independence and integrity, and report compliance issues to the CEO promptly
* Collaboration with internal personnel to meet organisational and regulatory requirements
* Promote a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organisation
* Participate in management evaluation activities
Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in a technical field or equivalent
* Broad experience in the aviation industry, preferably in pilot training or simulator training
* Sound knowledge of EASA and CASA SMS regulations
* Quality Assurance systems qualification
* Aviation Safety qualifications and associated experience
* Ability to work in a global, culturally diverse environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and modern communication platforms
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years in a Quality/Compliance Manager role
* Minimum 5 years of experience in SMS and WHS
* Recent auditing experience
* Experience with aviation training organisations and FSTD operators, including EASA
Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of the aviation pilot training industry, CASA and EASA regulations, and processes
* Understanding of pilot training simulators
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on professional and personal development
* Decisive and self-starting with the energy, motivation, and resilience for a demanding environment
