About the role
This role is within the AMU Services team who provide a full range of asset management services and support across the state, including the implementation of facilities management programs and maintenance works, to support high quality, professional service delivery. Including accountabilities such as:
* Preparing briefs, reports, financial information and other associated documentation.
* Provide advice and input in the development of technical specifications and layouts for individual minor facilities management projects
* Liaising with consultants, contractors and other asset management staff
* Monitor, record and report on program progress to ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
* Undertake analysis of the financial position of facilities management programs to support recommendations on corrective actions to management.
* Review of legislative, statutory and legal requirements related to facilities maintenance
* Role location headquarters is Sydney; however successful candidate can work from any of our office locations Statewide
* Whilst we offer a variety of flexible working arrangements, you will need to be willing to attend the Office periodically for collaboration opportunities with team members.

About you
* Experience in, facilities management, building services, or a related field.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders dispersed across a large geographical location
* Strong understanding of asset management principles and legislative requirements
* Ability to operate with a minimum level of supervision in an environment characterised by competing priorities, tight deadlines and legislative frameworks
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

* Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
