The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced engineering leader to oversee our technical operations.
In this key role, you will develop product strategies, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with IECEx, AS/NZS, and other relevant industry standards.
You will guide cross-functional teams, manage complex technical projects, and deliver practical, compliant solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing technical strategies, project plans, and resource allocation aligned with business goals.
* Representing engineering at executive level, driving continuous improvement in operations, compliance, and technical standards.
* Ensuring adherence to IECEx, AS/NZS, and other safety standards, managing audits, documentation, and liaison with certifying bodies, while leading HSEQ compliance and risk management across all technical activities.
* Overseeing technical operations, maintenance, R&D initiatives and product development to maintain high quality, safety, and performance standards.
* Collaborating with internal departments to align technical activities with certification, design, and innovation goals.
* Mentoring and developing technical and sales teams to enhance capability.
* Driving process improvements to improve consistency, scalability, and efficiency across multiple sites.
* Owning technical documentation and championing knowledge sharing across the organisation.
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Minimum 7 years' experience in technical solution selling, ideally in electrical or hazardous area industries.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical leadership role managing cross-functional or multi-site teams.
