About the Team

The Global Programs team is the strategic partnership group of AIG Travel, focused on building and managing long-term relationships with airlines and online travel agencies. The team comprises Product & Partnerships Managers and Business Project Managers who work collaboratively with AIG Travel's broader organisation in rolling out our travel insurance distribution solutions end-to-end for our partners so they can maximise their ancillary revenue. Team members gain broad exposure and experience across AIG Travel as we identify and implement solutions that best suit the unique needs of our travel partners and their customers.

About the role

The Product & Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and strengthening our travel distribution partnerships in the market and represents AIG as the main point of contact for our partners. You will be responsible for developing the business plan for our partnership's strategy amidst an exciting time for travel insurance growth. The Product & Partnerships Manager drives collaboration and alignment with our partners, resulting in win-win outcomes for our partnership and our end customers.

What you need to know

The Product & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Act as the day-to-day main point of contact for our partners for all aspects of the travel distribution partnership, from product development & governance, underwriting, customer services & operations, marketing, and training
- Develop and implement a strategic partnership vision & 3-year plan with our partners and internal stakeholders. The 3-year plan comprises a prioritised portfolio of projects/initiatives that drive sustainable growth, revenue optimisation and deliver customer value.
- Work closely with the Business Project Manager in:

- project prioritisation and planning
- managing and influencing cross-functional team members to deliver projects on time and on quality
- Oversee the end-to-end customer-centric product development and governance of current and existing products from design phase through to launch and post-launch monitoring.
- Assist with development of business requirements for IT related work items, acting as Business point of contact and SME
- Ensures and drives day to day business compliance with all regulatory, legislative and internal compliance obligations.

What we're looking for:

- Capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with a variety of internal and external parties alike, with demonstrable influencing and presentation skills at all levels
- Solutions-oriented - Someone who clearly articulates problems/opportunities/process frameworks for the team and is curious and resourceful in developing solutions
- Team player with experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio SharePoint; exposure to fintech/insurtech or ecommerce businesses preferred
