We are seeking a manager on our clients behalf, with the key deliverable being the operational support functions in a great location
Success Profile You are described as someone able to delicately juggle the many facets of their role with agility.
You have a way of effectively managing varied demands whilst having developed a manner that reflects that you take it all in your stride and naturally gravitate toward a solution focused approach.
Essentially you have worked in blue collar / Agri / manufacturing environments and amenable to working Monday - Friday on site.
The following criteria is highly regarded: Min 3 years HR experience with a Degree or Diploma in HR and/or proven relevant work experience; Experience with claims, mediations and workplace disputes; Curiosity to continue to learn new IR and business practices and retaining currency in changes to legislation and trends.
Scope Ideally you will have worked in Agri or manufacturing / processing / blue collar industries to afford a keen appreciation for the pace, culture and many moving parts, as your dual primary focus is protecting the safety of others and HR functions.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of all awards, conditions, Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards; Co-ordinating, implementing and monitoring performance management, training rehabilitation and return to work programs; Ensuring overall compliance - across all pursuant legislation and policies; Monitoring, investigating and assessing employee related incidents and corrective actions; Developing, revising and recommending personnel policies and procedures, approaches, and procedures; Ultimate responsibility for talent attraction, recruitment and selection, onboarding procedures, transactional HR services, report management, performance management and associated activities.
