THE OPPORTUNITY
We're on the lookout for experienced and hands‐on Experienced Operator Technicians to join our team maintaining the South East Water (SEW) network, based in Dandenong South, VIC.
In this role, you'll be a key part of delivering essential water and wastewater services to the community. Your work will include reactive maintenance and minor capital upgrades—real, practical tasks that keep the system running smoothly. If you're someone who takes pride in quality work and enjoys being out in the field, this is the role for you.
This is a 24/7 reactive maintenance contract, so flexibility is important. You'll rotate between day and afternoon shifts, as well as participate in an on‐call roster.
ABOUT YOU
* Site Proficient: Experience in civil excavation or water/wastewater reticulation work. Comfortable communicating with customers or the public when needed. Willing to participate in an after‐hours roster.
* Team Oriented: You work well with others, communicate clearly, and always put safety first.
* Site Qualifications:
o Driver Licence and/or MR Tuck Licence
o Spotters Ticket
o White Card
o Working with Children Card
o Excavator / Backhoe Licence
* Pre‐Employment Checks: Full working rights in Australia, ability to complete a medical, and meet licence and Working With Children Check requirements.
