We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in a part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week, weekdays). Additional hours are available covering annual and personal leave. About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our busy pharmacy operations while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently processing prescriptions and over-the-counter medication requests
* Providing exceptional customer service, answering patient queries and offering product recommendations
* Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment
* Assisting the Pharmacist with administrative and operational tasks
* Ensuring stock is properly stored, rotated and maintained
* Adhering to pharmacy policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
* Coordinating and assisting with deliveries
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a healthcare/customer service role (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
* A genuine passion for helping people and delivering high-quality patient care
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
