We are seeking a dedicated hands‑on NPD Coordinator to join the National Product Development team within the FMCG industry. This role is based in the manufacturing facility and focuses on managing and coordinating new product development projects from concept to launch.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate new product development projects from concept to launch.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, marketing, and quality assurance.
* Take on a leadership role when the Manager is not present.
* Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
* Oversee compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
* Support the implementation of new processes and workflows for product development.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and consumer needs.
* Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the development process.
Qualifications
* A successful NPD Coordinator should have a degree in Food Science or related science discipline.
* Hands‑on product development experience in fresh ready to eat categories.
* Some exposure of dealing with food service and QSR's.
* Direct working relationship with the Australian supermarkets.
* Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership qualities to step up in the managers absence.
* Own the stage gate process for your projects.
* Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and communication abilities.
