Job description
The French Landscaper & Co is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Tradesperson on a full-time basis to assist/run job sites and undertake all aspects of structural and softscape landscaping. The French Crew has a reputation for quality work, thanks to our high standards of workmanship and skill. Within this role you will be responsible for:
● Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures
● Constructing decking, gravel and paved areas, irrigation and drainage, tiling and concreting
● Creating & installing various retaining walls
● Softscape landscaping including planting (trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs) and preparing lawn areas (laying turf, by spreading topsoil and planting grass)
● Bobcat and excavator works
● Outdoor renovations
● Use of SWMS documentation and health & safety protocols
● Support office in preparation of plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction

Skills and Experience
As a part of our team, you will be an expert in hard and soft landscaping. You will have:
● Previous experience and/or qualifications in landscape construction
● Current MR or HR Drivers License (well-regarded but not essential)
● Excellent time management and communication skills
● Machinery tickets would be adventatious
● A desire to grow alongside a successful and expanding business

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35-45 per hour
Expected hours: 38-40 per week
