Overview
Join to apply for the Clinical Nurse role at WA Country Health Service. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent or Fixed Term appointments at up to 66 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Community Health team at Geraldton Hospital in the Midwest.
Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with school communities to enhance the health, wellbeing and education outcomes for individuals and groups of students.
* Experience in and well-developed nursing skills relevant to community, school and child health.
* Experience delivering health promotion programs.
* Effective verbal and written skills, especially advocacy and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work in partnerships, function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence and the ability to travel throughout the region.
Position Profile & Requirements
Position profile: Work in partnership with school communities to enhance health, wellbeing and education outcomes for individuals and groups of students. This is an open-ended recruitment pool; the panel will monitor applications and assess regularly. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 1/05/2026.
