Offer description

Our Purpose: Queensland's hospital system is facing greater demand and pressure than ever before.
This is driven by our growing and ageing population, and compounded by pressures on primary, aged and disability care.
To help address this, Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS), is leading the biggest hospital expansion program Queensland has ever seen.
The program includes building three new hospitals, expanding 11, upgrading rural and regional health facilities and delivering thousands of new hospital beds in the next five years.
In addition, the intent is for this to be the first tranche of a 15-year program of infrastructure investments.
Working in HIQ, you will forge a new sustainable delivery model and contribute to the delivery of projects that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders – what could be more rewarding than that?
Benefits for Joining HIQ: Attractive and competitive salary with annual incremental increases, generous employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
Permanent opportunity available offering great job security.
Flexible working arrangements along with a supportive and friendly work environment.
Corporate discounts and employee wellness programs.
Countless opportunities to learn and ongoing professional development.
Committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees.
You will contribute to making a difference in the lives of Queenslanders.
Key Responsibilities Manage and facilitate responses to complex and sensitive requests from the other executive offices, and the offices of Deputy Directors-General and Director-General and ensure resolution of issues to completion.
Manage key relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders across HIQ and the broader health sector, including the Department of Health, Hospital and Health Services, government agencies and other stakeholders to achieve the successful implementation of activities and HIQ priorities.
Manage the effective coordination of responses to correspondence, briefs, reports, submissions and ministerial requests.
Support the Director in leading and managing the staffing and administrative aspects of the office, ensuring that effective and efficient processes are implemented to support operations.
Provide the office executive with a wide range of expert strategic, tactical and operational advice, analysis and support to enable effective strategic decision-making and risk minimisation through maintaining an intimate knowledge of current and emerging issues and priorities impacting on the Division.
If you're passionate and ready to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply
