Drive the delivery of cutting-edge infrastructure projects in Launceston Your new company This innovative global business is having continued growth within Australia and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction and deployment activities in Tasmania from a client-side perspective. Your new role Reporting to senior operations leadership and working closely with international engineering teams, you will take full ownership of infrastructure deployments across Tasmania. This is a hands-on client-side position suited to a technically strong Project Manager with extensive MEP experience and delivery capability in critical infrastructure grade environments. You will lead safe and compliant project delivery, manage contractor performance, oversee commercial outcomes, and ensure programme milestones are achieved. You will act as the primary interface for contractors, suppliers, clients, landlords, and building owners while also serving as the escalation point for technical and operational matters. You will also be responsible for the following: Lead safety, quality, and compliance activities across multiple deployment sites Manage end-to-end delivery of MEP installations, including scheduling, risk control, and progress reporting. Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and contract management Coordinate contractors, suppliers, clients, and building owners to ensure smooth project execution Resolve technical and commercial issues and maintain delivery standards Work closely with engineering teams to align with design intent and support continuous improvement. What you'll need to succeed To be a successful candidate, you will require the following: Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline Safety or quality certification Seven to ten plus years of experience in MEP project or site management in industrial environments Strong understanding of Australian MEP regulations and approval processes Proficiency with project management tools and financial reporting A trade background in MEP will be advantageous.
