About the role
This second-line Compliance role is a member of the team responsible for providing dedicated business facing second line compliance support to Tyro’s business units.
What you'll do
1. Execute the compliance monitoring program including completion of compliance monitoring to agreed schedules.
2. Undertaken reviews of marketing material and provide compliance sign-off of those materials in line with set service level agreements.
3. Monitor, manage and respond to Compliance relevant onboarding queries in line with expected timeframes
4. Evaluate and advise on compliance issues.
5. Manage escalated complaints, privacy, and credit reporting requests including those complaints referred to Tyro’s external dispute resolution body within regulated timeframes.
6. Contribute to the design, implementation and on-going improvement of Compliance manuals and policies.
What you'll bring
7. Experience working in a risk, compliance and/or audit role, in a technology company or business unit operating in the finance or payments industry.
8. Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
9. Strong reporting skills – attention to detail with a data-driven / analytical approach.
10. A team player who can work autonomously and is adaptable to change.
