Salary range: $ p.f. (Nurse Grade 12)

About your opportunity
This position is accountable for midwifery leadership, innovation and excellence in the continuum of care for women's and specialist services within WCSG. The role is the operational and professional lead for midwifery within THHS. This includes a direct reporting line for governance, education, practice review, operational and professional services for midwives providing maternity care in Townsville, Charters Towers, Ingham and Palm Island with professional support provided to midwives working in Ayr Hospital.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Midwifery and registration with AHPRA.
This position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. This may involve day and/or overnight stays.
Highly desirable
Post graduate qualifications to Master's or other higher degree relevant to the position.
Previous experience in a senior leadership and/or management role with demonstrated achievements in engagement, research, operational and change management areas of practice.
