About The Role
* Maximise recovery income by negotiating with third parties or their Insurers, Solicitors or Agents.
* Assess claims to determine if they are viable to issue proceedings and subsequently engage our panel solicitor and manage the litigation process.
* Keep records and maintain activity trackers of litigated matters in accordance with AAL procedures and regulatory obligations.
* Act as a referral point for technical advice and provide coaching support on complex litigated matters, including Class Actions.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditations preferable.
* Experience managing complex litigation, ideally within the Commercial & Domestic Property Insurance or financial services industry.
* Experience in either managing or being part of Class Action litigation process preferable.
* Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for commercial and economic decision making.
* Ability to make independent as well as collaborative decisions and taking responsibility for any consequences of decisions taken.
* Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence/guide outcomes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, to engage with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
* Strong proven negotiating and influencing skills
* Open to engaging with emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
