About Us
MMC is a well-established NT engineering company, operating since 1993. We employ over 110 people across three facilities and deliver fabrication, maintenance, and engineering solutions to mining, construction, and oil & gas clients.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for experienced Boilermakers and Welders to join our Darwin workshop team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform heavy carbon steel plate fabrication, structural steelwork, pipework, and maintenance tasks
* Carry out welding and fabrication to the highest quality standards while adhering to strict safety protocols
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
* Operate welding equipment and machinery including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and identify efficient solutions
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices
What You Need to Succeed
* Certificate III in Engineering / Fabrication Trade
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Strong safety focus and attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded:
* Current forklift licence and/or other high-risk licences
* Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
