Position Details
* Location:
o Mount Gambier, some travel to Port MacDonnell may be required
* Shifts currently available:
o 9.00am - 3.00pm weekdays
o Possible weekend and after school hours support
o Shift duration vary, based on customers' needs and funding
* Key responsibilities:
o Community access and transport
o Social supports
o Personal care
o Domestic duties
o Assisting customers with meal planning, preparation and cooking
Qualifications and Experience:
* Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support, or similar qualification (desirable)
* Current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certificates
* NDIS Worker Check and South Australian Working with Children Check
* NDIS Online Modules

Desirable additional training and/or experience in (further training will be provided):
* Behaviours of Concern, utilising intervention and de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation
* Medication Administration
* Complex Care needs
* Previous experience working with children
* Previous experience with palliative care
Other Requirements:
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance, and willing to transport customers for community participation
* Evidence of the right to work within Australia
* Customers are requesting female support workers
