The Leonora Safe House is looking for a passionate manager to support women and children affected by domestic, family, and sexual violence. We are immersed in remote communities, delivering family, domestic violence programs and crisis accommodation. You'll work closely with Aboriginal communities to deliver national programs on a local level.

What you'll do
* Provide comfort and support to women and children while you are working and assist them should they need help
* Work flexible hours, including on call, overnight and weekends
* Work with manager to develop and improve policies and procedures that meet cultural needs
* Ensure procedures are followed for entry and exit from the service including staff, women, children, and support services (police, health nurse etc)
* Understanding of domestic violence and support victim/survivors
* Local knowledge of the community and people in which the safe house is located
* Assist the Organisation and managers to understand culture and ways of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
Requirements
* Be eligible to work in Australia
* Hold a valid Working with Children Check
* Satisfactory National Police Clearance
