The Opportunity The Ashurst Brisbane Real Estate team is looking for a bright and driven commercial property and transactions lawyer, ideally with one to four years' post qualification experience. This role will enable you to develop your skills across real estate transactions, developments and renewable energy projects. In this role, you will work alongside the Partners and Senior Associates to service a diverse client base including institutional property investors, developers, infrastructure project proponents and government clients. You will work on mainstream property transactions such as land and building acquisition and disposal, leasing, subdivision and development work in addition to major corporate acquisitions and large infrastructure projects. Our expertise and commercial focus allows us to carry out the most complex and often pioneering transactions across the real estate space. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with superior drafting skills. A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively. Experience with acquisitions and disposals, large infrastructure projects and renewables work beneficial. Transactional commercial real estate experience and an in-depth understanding of the issues that can arise on relevant transactions. A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
