**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Agronomy / Trials Specialist to join our Perth team. In this role, you will be focussed on providing exceptional customer service, sales and trials support to our valued customers and suppliers.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Contribute to the business by building strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities and developing new business.
- Participating and overseeing trials and research projects and informing customers and suppliers.
- Preparation of key trial findings and reports.
- Planning and implementation of growing trials by following designed protocols, including setup, seeding, spraying and harvesting.
- Ongoing assessment and interpretation of current trials and collating data to formulate reports presenting final outcomes. Oversee all aspects of trial implementation, including land preparation, seeding, fertilization, and pest management.
- Monitor crop growth and health, collecting data on various agronomic parameters.
- Ensure the trials are conducted in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to gather data on crop performance and environmental conditions.
- Dedicated to developing and regularly updating product knowledge.
- Maintaining safety and compliance processes.
- Ensuring the safe, clean and professional presentation of the work environment.
**ABOUT YOU**
To excel as our Agronomy / Trials Specialist you will:
- Have a proven track record in sales and some experience working in a retail environment.
- An understanding of agricultural services and products.
- Strive to become a valued member of the local community.
- Are comfortable and thrive in a collaborative and agile working environment.
- Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clients.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous agronomy and research experience.
- A relevant agricultural degree qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical organisational and problem solving experience.
- A working knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
- An HR truck and forklift licence

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
