Job Description
As a Passenger Service Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of airport services. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to passengers with reduced mobility.
* Assist passengers with wheelchair needs by pushing them safely and efficiently through the airport.
* Complete relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Provide clear and concise information to passengers regarding their journey.
* Operate lifting devices, such as Eagle Hoists, according to airline-approved transfer methods to assist wheelchair passengers.
* Transfer passengers between wheelchairs and personal devices using approved transfer methods.
* Help passengers maneuver luggage from the baggage belt onto a trolley.
* Collect and store equipment, including wheelchairs and E-Caddies, in designated areas.
* Assist customers in locating family or friends who are collecting them at designated drop-off points within the airport boundaries, as requested by the passenger.
This is a part-time position with rotating shifts that may include early morning starts and late finishes, pending flight schedules and/or delays.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid driver's license.
* Experience working with special needs or reduced mobility persons (desirable).
* Previous experience within the aviation/airline industry (desirable).
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
* Calm and composed under pressure.
