Personal Care Worker – Gold Coast South
Covering Bilinga, Coolangatta, Currumbin, Elanora, Palm beach, Tallebudgera, Tugun, Tweed Heads.
About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care to our Home Care clients, supporting their health, independence, and wellbeing. You will travel between clients' homes to assist with daily living and lifestyle needs, ensuring each client is supported with respect, dignity, and choice.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts (Clinical sign off required)
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Offer social support and transport, including shopping, outings, and medical appointments
* Support clients with mobility aids and personal equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, hoists, hearing aids)
* Assist clients with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitor client wellbeing and provide progress updates
* Attend training as required
* Deliver services generally between 6am–6pm, Monday to Friday
What You'll Need
* Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
* Current Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.)
* Reliable, insured, and registered vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
* Smartphone with internet access
