Facilities Coordinator Position
Maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment is crucial for the well-being of students, staff, and visitors to our school facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the setup and arrangement of equipment and furniture for various events, meetings, and classroom activities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities and grounds, minimizing property damage and liability exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange furniture and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and special events
* Secure facilities and grounds to prevent property damage and liability
* Participate in in-service training sessions to stay updated on procedures
* Clean assigned school facilities, including classrooms, offices, gymnasiums, restrooms, multipurpose rooms, pools, and grounds
* Perform various custodial functions as required
* Report incidents of vandalism, damages, or issues needing action
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* At least 18 years of age
* Job-related experience desired
* Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance Required
