We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Engineer
to join an innovative
AI-focused program of work
. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives within a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
The Role
You will design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and architectures to support AI and ML projects. Working closely with data scientists, analysts and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure seamless data integration, accessibility, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
* Design and implement data solutions using Snowflake and cloud platforms
* Build and maintain knowledge graphs to enhance data relationships and insights
* Develop reusable, scalable data solutions using Python
* Ensure data quality, integrity and security
* Troubleshoot and optimise data performance
* Support AI/ML workflows and integration
About You
You will bring:
* Strong experience with Snowflake (including DBT)
* Experience with knowledge graph technologies (e.g. Neo4j, RDF or similar)
* Strong Python skills (Pandas, PySpark, NumPy etc.)
* Exposure to AI/ML workflows
* Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude or similar)
* Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL and cloud data platforms
* Experience across public and private sector environments (highly regarded)
