Essential Functions
Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs accurately and within the designated time frame or as requested.
Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
Interacts effectively with patients and their families.
Assists patients with basic hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Helps patients turn, reposition in bed, and transfer between bed and wheelchair as needed.
Listens to patients' health concerns and reports them to nurses.
Job Description
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - preferred from various issuers.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - preferred from various issuers.
Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts) - preferred from Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services.
Nursing Assistant (LNA) - New Hampshire - preferred from New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
Experience
1-2 years of experience in patient or elder care preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong patient and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Proficient in computer skills for electronic medical records.
