THE ROLE
As our Buyer, you'll own a defined portfolio of third-party suppliers end-to-end — from commercial negotiations and forecasting, through to inventory health, product lifecycle and margin performance.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll balance strategy with execution, working closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations and Stores to deliver strong commercial outcomes.
You Will
Own a defined portfolio of suppliers with full accountability for performance
Lead commercial negotiations (costs, trading terms, rebates, promotional support)
Develop and manage demand forecasts, purchaseM, stock cover and purchase planning
Proactively manage stock risk (out-of-stocks, overstock, aged inventory)
Drive gross margin improvement and cost optimisation initiatives
Conduct range reviews and SKU rationalisation
Manage product lifecycle from NPD through to exit
Support successful product launches and promotional planning
Partner with Marketing on campaign execution and launches
Work with Warehouse & Operations on inbound planning and stock flow
Partner with Finance on margin tracking, pricing reviews and rebate reconciliation
Communicate supply updates and risks to internal stakeholders and Stores

About You
You're commercially sharp, highly organised and confident owning outcomes. You're comfortable negotiating, forecasting and working cross-functionally to drive strong commercial results.
You'll Bring
2+ years' experience in Buying, Procurement or a commercial role
Experience managing forecasting and inventory planning
Strong negotiation capability and supplier relationship management
Solid financial literacy (GP%, margin, OTB, sell-through)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, forecasting models)
Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
FMCG or retail buying experience
Exposure to category strategy
ERP system experience
Supply chain or logistics knowledge
