Work for Australian Federal Government who is seeking a Senior Leasing Officer to start immediately for 6 months.
This role is APS level 6.

The Role
- Assist to deliver the department’s strategic approach to its property portfolio covering property lease acquisitions, management and disposals.
- Assist to undertake property lease negotiations, acquisitions and divestment's.
- Assist in the development of leasing strategies to support asset management priorities and property efficiencies through reduction of footprint and/or lease savings.
- Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions.
- Maintain leasing data to support management of the department’s property portfolio, ensuring contract compliance and optimisation of the property portfolio.
Experience
- Exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
- Leasing experience at a Senior Level is desired.
Preferably within federal government departments.
- Provide accurate advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Work positively and collaboratively, with a focus on customer service and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Coordinate work, manage competing priorities and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
This role will be paying up to $52ph + super, at APS 6, starting immediately.
As this is a federal government role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen to apply.
You will also have the ability to gain security checks (pre-engagement check, baseline clearance or higher).
