Offer description

Heavy Mobile Equipment Technician

This is a residential role in the Parkes region, working a consistent roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high-performing underground maintenance team. As part of this team, you'll be responsible for ensuring every light vehicle is maintained to the highest standards—safe, reliable, and ready for action.

From conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics to collaborating with planners and team leaders, you'll ensure every task is completed with precision and care. You'll be hands-on with Toyota Landcruisers, Ford Rangers, and Mahindra vehicles, using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and OEM documentation to keep our fleet in peak condition.

About The Role

* You're based in Parkes or ready to make the move to join a thriving mining community.
* You hold a Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-trade experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
* You bring hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing Toyota, Ford, and Mahindra light vehicles, with strong skills in electronic diagnostics and Can Bus systems.
* You're familiar with OEM service manuals and confident in performing both LV and HV inspections to uphold site standards.
* You're a natural mentor, ready to support junior trades while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
* You're organised, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality work every time.
* You hold a current Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.

Your Benefits

We offer relocation support assistance, salary packaging (novated car leasing, remote area housing), life insurance and income protection, quarterly performance bonuses, employee share scheme, short and long term incentives, referral bonuses, recognition program, study assistance, gym visits, BP fuel card, and health insurance.
